Matroda is a Croatian electronic music producer known for his unique approach to house music. He’s gained recognition for his “matrodasound,” a term coined by his fans. Influenced by artists like Led Zeppelin, Frank Sinatra, and The Beatles, Matroda blends classical training in violin, drums, and keyboard with electronic music. He has performed at major festivals like EDC Las Vegas, Nocturnal Wonderland, and Ibiza, building a global presence.
Matroda’s career took off with a remix of SNBRN’s ‘California’ alongside Chris Lake, which gained support from renowned DJs like Diplo and Calvin Harris. He released projects like ‘THE RED TAPE’ and collaborations like ‘Lose Control’ with Wax Motif, earning accolades and significant streaming numbers. His track ‘Disco Tool’ reached #1 on the Beatport tech house chart. He also gained recognition on Tracklist1001’s producer chart and amassed over a million monthly listeners on Spotify.
In 2021, Matroda established his label, Terminal Underground, releasing his own EP titled ‘Jack The House EP.’ His tracks ‘La Pasion’ and ‘Lifting’ achieved chart success on Beatport. In 2022, he continued his momentum with the release of ‘Gotta Let You Go’ on Insomniac Records.
